John Cusack was born in Evanston, Illinois on June 26, 1966. He was the son of an Irish Catholic family and the fourth entity to make its emergence into the world, John was fortunate to have been born into a family teeming with talent and ambition. Dad is an actor and documentary filmmaker. Mom is a teacher. All of his siblings are also actors; three sisters and one brother.
At the ripe old age of eight, John joined the Piven Theatre Workshop. By twelve, he'd earned a nice place with other talented heavy-weights who had successfully completed industry films, radio spots and commercial voice overs. At seventeen came his first big break, working on the film 'Class.'
Throughout the Eighties, Cusack continued getting work. He appeared in such classics as 'Sixteen Candles,' 'Better Off Dead' and 'Say Anything.' The rest is truly cinematic history. Cusack hasn't stopped and he has an uncanny ability for picking his roles wisely. We can expect to enjoy him on the big screen for years to come.
